Launching round two of JCDP applications
ACFO-ACAF is launching a second round of applications to CT-FINs for the 2021-22 Joint Career Development Program (JCDP).
In case you missed the first round of applications, the JCDP is an annual $1M professional development fund jointly managed by ACFO-ACAF and the Office of the Comptroller General designated for CT-FINs under the 2016 collective agreement.
Due to the uncertainty around the safety of travel in winter 2022, in-person opportunities have been rescheduled to take place online, with cost savings opening up for additional training opportunities.
These opportunities include training from market-leading providers focused on relevant themes and skills for CT-FINs, including:
- Language training;
- Human skills, from difficult conversations to leadership skills;
- CPA Canada Public Sector Conference passes;
- Relating and responding to mental health;
- The government financial cycle, from political platforms to public accounts;
- And much more.

The deadline to apply is September 20 at 11:59 pm ET. All applicants will then go into a random draw to assign training based on your stated preferences. While priority will be given to CT-FINs who have yet to receive training under the JCDP, program participants from this year or past years are still eligible to apply.
