Applications are now open for the 2021-22 Joint Career Development Program. This program, jointly managed by ACFO-ACAF and the Office of the Comptroller General, offers one million dollars’ worth of free training and development opportunities to members of the CT-FIN Community thanks to funding secured by ACFO-ACAF in the 2016 FI Collective Agreement.

This year’s program will offer online training through 2021 and in-person opportunities in the first quarter of 2022, subject to it being safe to do so given the ongoing pandemic.

You can apply for training by market-leading providers focused on relevant themes and skills, including:

  • Data visualization with Power BI
  • Leadership fundamentals
  • Effective communication and difficult conversations
  • The government financial cycle, from political platforms to public accounts
  • Mental health
