Registration open: Free Data Analytics Conference September 25
After a successful inaugural event last fiscal year, ACFO-ACAF and the Office of the Comptroller General (OCG) are pleased to once again sponsor discussion and development days on strategic analytics for financial professionals in the public sector exclusively for ACFO-ACAF members as part of the Joint Career Development Program (JCDP).
At this year’s Data Analytics Conference on September 25 in Ottawa, participants will discuss the application of strategic analytics approaches in financial management and share ideas at the working level. This will include demonstrations of tools used by other departments and examples of using machine learning to help finance professionals with their tasks.
In addition to networking and meeting FIs from across the city, the Data Analytics Conference is an opportunity for the FI Community to add value to your organization. Participants will learn about including a human-centered design in their solution and will walk away with a list of artificial intelligence tools that can make their role more dynamic and adaptive.
Speakers and the agenda have not yet been finalized, but the event is expected to run from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Further information will be shared closer to the date.

Your registration will be confirmed by the end of July and further details will be shared with confirmed registrants at that time.
The location is yet to be determined, as a venue will be arranged based on the number of registrations we receive.
