With the government’s March 22 deadline for resolving T-4 and Relevé 1 related issues come and gone and so many cases still outstanding, ACFO is once again asking the FI Community to share how you have been or continue to be affected by Phoenix.
The FI Community Phoenix Impact Study has proven to be an extremely useful tool for getting the attention of senior departmental officials at Public Services and Procurement Canada and the MPs who serve on the government committee studying the Phoenix debacle.
It has also provided them with important information about the number of people impacted by Phoenix and the ways that impact is felt. To our knowledge, ACFO is the only party tracking the impact of Phoenix in the same way, making the results of our surveys valuable and compelling.
Internally, the Phoenix Impact Survey allows us to better orient our resources to help where we can, including with cases related to the growing mental health issue Phoenix is creating among the FI Community.
That is why it is so important that all FIs take 5 minutes to fill out the latest FI Community Phoenix Impact Study. We know that year-end is a busy time of year for FIs, but your feedback is truly essential.
We urge all FIs to complete this survey even if you completed the surveys in the fall and winter, if your case(s) has been resolved or if you haven’t been affected by Phoenix directly. Your answers will help us evaluate progress on Phoenix issues as well as build on our current data about unresolved cases, Phoenix’s effect on workload and the overall well-being of the entire FI Community.
Please remember that the latest survey is intended to measure the overall impact Phoenix has had since its implementation. Your responses should not be based on your experience since the last survey, but on the totality of your experience with Phoenix.
While the survey is completely anonymous, you may contact labourrelations@acfo-acaf.com or call 1-877-728-0695 for assistance with the issues you’re facing. For any questions about the survey, or if you did not receive a link to the survey in your inbox, please contact Lauren Doty at ldoty@acfo-acaf.com.
