Over the course of the past few days, our team at ACFO-ACAF has been engaging in routine meetings with senior management. One of the major themes from these meetings thus far has been a concern that the mandatory minimum number of days members are required to work in the office are not being respected by some members of the CT Community in multiple departments. Some of their main concerns include:
- Employees reserving workstations without attending the workplace on the day of those reservations; and
- Employees reporting to the office but not attending for the entirety of their workday.
As a result of these conversations, we would like to remind the CT Community that employees who fail to report to work for the required number of days outlined by their departments without written permission from their supervisor are subject to disciplinary action. We therefore recommend that all employees report to work for the entirety of your required workdays in the office to avoid discipline.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the mandatory in-office work requirements, please contact our Labour Relations Team at labourrelations@acfo-acaf.com.
