In accordance with Bylaw 9.12.1, ACFO-ACAF’s Board of Directors has called a Special General Meeting (SGM) that will take place virtually on August 6, 2024, at 6:00 pm ET.

The purpose of the SGM is to present a bylaw amendment. The full details of the amendment are available for ACFO-ACAF members to view at this link.

Please note that only discussions pertaining to the proposed bylaw amendment will be discussed during the SGM. ACFO-ACAF members who wish to discuss any unrelated matters are encouraged to contact us or attend our Annual General Meeting, which will take place on October 30, 2024.

Voting Information

ACFO-ACAF members will have the opportunity to vote on this bylaw amendment either in person or virtually.  

In-person voting

Members who wish to submit their vote in person can do so at the ACFO-ACAF office (193 Richmond Rd, Ottawa, ON K1Z 6W4) on August 6, 2024, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm ET.

Virtual voting

Members who wish to submit their vote virtually can do so using a link that will be sent out via email at 12:00 pm ET on July 17, 2024.

The deadline to submit your electronic vote will be August 6, 2024, at 7:00 pm ET.
ACFO-ACAF members who intend on voting virtually are encouraged to verify that their contact information in the ACFO-ACAF member portal is up to date. You can do so by following the instructions available on this page.

Results

The results of the vote on the proposed bylaw amendment will be shared with ACFO-ACAF members by email on August 7, 2024, the same day that we will be publishing the preliminary notice of our AGM.
