We are happy to announce the return of the EDIAR Learning Series for 2025 with our first session of the New Year already scheduled. This series of webinars offers ACFO-ACAF members a chance to come together during the lunch hour to explore topics related to equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism (EDIAR).

This month’s session will be led by Breanna Pizzuto and Stéphanie Drouin from Talk Tools, who will join us to discuss suicide prevention. Both Breanna and Stéphanie are deeply passionate about helping others and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide. During their presentation, they will provide valuable insights on:

  • The prevalence of suicide in Canada;
  • Warning signs that may indicate someone is experiencing suicidal thoughts;
  • How to respond when we notice someone in our life is behaving differently; and
  • Additional resources available to support individuals in need.

An English session will be held on Wednesday, January 15, from 11:00 to 12:30 pm ET, followed by a French session on Wednesday, January 22, from 11:00 to 12:30 pm ET. The sessions will be hosted virtually on MS Teams.
