ACFO-ACAF EDIAR Learning Series: Practical tools for resolving workplace issues
ACFO-ACAF has scheduled the next session of our ongoing EDIAR Learning Series. This series of webinars provides ACFO-ACAF members with an opportunity to come together over the lunch hour and discuss topics related to equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism (EDIAR).
February’s session will feature a presentation from Job Content, Classification and Equity Advisor, Danielle Lafleur, who has more than 14 years of experience at ACFO-ACAF. Danielle has handled thousands of cases related to workplace issues during which time she has gained valuable insights into the best ways to resolve them. During this session, she will share those insights with attendees, giving us all the practical tools we need to resolve workplace issues.
More specifically, she will discuss:
- The impact of workplace issues on individual and team morale;
- The most common barriers to finding resolutions;
- How to prevent workplace issues;
- Effective ways to address workplace issues; and
- How workplace issues can actually be helpful.
An English session will be held on Monday, February 3, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm ET, followed by a French session on Monday, February 10, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm ET. The sessions will be hosted virtually on MS Teams, and a recording will be available in the ACFO-ACAF member portal.
