The Ambassador Program is at the heart of how we connect with and support our members across Canada. Made up of member volunteers, they are Ambassadors who act as a liaison between the CT Community in their departments / regions and ACFO-ACAF. They serve as the eyes and ears in the workplace, ensuring our members are informed, heard, and well-supported.

What they do
ACFO-ACAF Ambassadors play a vital role in keeping communication flowing and members engaged. They:
- welcome new members and help them feel part of the CT Community;
- share the latest ACFO-ACAF initiatives, news, and updates with fellow CT members within their departments;
- direct members to resources and appropriate ACFO-ACAF points of contact;
- represent ACFO-ACAF on health and safety committees;
- stay informed on major advocacy files ACFO-ACAF are working on; and
- relay workplace issues and provide insight that helps ACFO-ACAF better advocate for members.
Please note they are not trained to handle labour relations issues. If you have a question about your workplace rights, please contact a Labour Relations Advisor.
Benefits of being an Ambassador
- Receive a training and orientation session upon joining the program
- Participate in monthly virtual discussions led by the ACFO-ACAF President with fellow volunteers
- Access to the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) platform
- Attend the annual volunteer one-day conference
