ACFO-ACAF has scheduled the next session of our ongoing EDI Learning Series. This series of webinars provides ACFO-ACAF members with an opportunity to come together over the lunch hour and discuss topics related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

This month’s session invites attendees to learn about their rights when dealing with racial discrimination in the workplace and will be hosted by ACFO-ACAF’s Director of Job Evaluation and Equity, Stéphanie Rochon Perras, and Kundera Provost Yombo of RavenLaw LLP. Our hosts will highlight some tools that may be helpful in the event that you or a colleague experience racial discrimination in the workplace.

A session in English will be taking place on Wednesday, March 6, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm ET. It will be directly followed by a French session that will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 pm ET. The sessions will be hosted virtually on MS Teams.

If you are interested in attending, please contact communications@acfo-acaf.com for the link to register.

We are hosting this session in alignment with the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination observed annually on March 21. This is a day where we are all encouraged to acknowledge that injustices and prejudices fueled by racial discrimination are still ever-present and that each of us play a role in tackling racial discrimination.
