ACFO-ACAF has scheduled the next session of our ongoing EDI Learning Series. This series of online webinars provides ACFO-ACAF members with an opportunity to come together over the lunch hour and discuss topics related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

This free, virtual session will cover the Federal Pay Equity Act and will take place on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. A session in English will be held from 11:30 am – 12:15 pm ET hosted by ACFO-ACAF Human Rights and Pay Equity Specialist Helen Berry. A French session will follow from 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm ET hosted by ACFO-ACAF’s Director of Job Evaluation and Equity, Stéphanie Rochon Perras. Both sessions will be held on Microsoft Teams.

Throughout the sessions, our hosts will touch on multiple topics, including:

  • What pay equity really means;
  • The history of the Federal Pay Equity Act; and
  • How does pay equity affect my job?

We encourage all of our members to take the time to attend this workshop, as it will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the Federal Pay Equity Act and give you an in-depth look into the work that is being done towards a more equitable federal public service.

There is no need to RSVP. Simply contact Andrew Kelly, at akelly@acfo-acaf.com, to receive the link that will grant you access to the seminar.

For any questions about the webinar, please contact Helen Berry at hberry@acfo-acaf.com or 1-877-728-0695 ext. 232.

We look forward to hosting this EDI Learning Series session and hope you find it informative.
