Fall Regional Tune Up events bringing free PD to regional hubs
The Regional Tune Up series is back for 2024-25, bringing a day of free professional development to members across the country.
The Regional Tune Up series began with a spring event in Edmonton on June 25 but things kick into high gear this fall, with five more events taking place from the Pacific to the Atlantic and several stops in between.
- Prairie Tune Up (Winnipeg) – August 29, 2024
- Atlantic Tune Up (Moncton) – September 12, 2024
- Pacific Tune Up (Vancouver) – October 3, 2024
- Ontario Tune Up (Toronto) – October 16, 2024
- Quebec Tune Up (Montreal) – November 7, 2024
As these are regional events, members who live and work in the regions but reside more than 100 km from the site of an event are eligible for partial travel support in the form of one night’s accommodation, capped at the government rate as per the NJC travel directive. This travel support is only available for members who reside outside of the National Capital Region, and members are only eligible to receive travel support one time per year. Please contact events@acfo-acaf.com for pre-approval before making any reservations.
