It is with both great pleasure and sadness that we bid farewell to long-standing ACFO-ACAF Board of Directors member Karen Hall as she enters a new chapter of life and goes forward with her retirement. We want to congratulate Karen for this amazing accomplishment and thank her for the many contributions she’s brought to ACFO-ACAF for more than a decade.
We’d like to take the time to acknowledge what an amazing colleague Karen has been as she’s left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the members of ACFO-ACAF. She’s provided a strong presence on the Board representing the regions, on top of contributing to many key files over the years including pay equity, collective bargaining, the departmental representative program and more.
The ACFO-ACAF that we are proud to be a part of could not have been what it is today without the time, effort and dedication that she’s given it, as well as the regular demonstration of her wisdom, experience, foresight and positive energy. To say that Karen has been an inspiration to all that have had the pleasure of working with her for more than a decade is just the beginning!
Karen, we’re so happy to see you enjoy the fruits of all your labour in retirement! You’ve fulfilled many professional goals and ambitions and now’s your chance to focus on your personal dreams and aspirations, which we can’t wait to see come to fruition. You will be missed and we’re sure this is not goodbye but rather — see you later!
We wish Karen the happiest of retirements.
Congratulations,
Dany Richard, MBA, CPA, CMA, ICD.D
President and President of the Board of Directors, ACFO-ACAF
