The CT Group has voted in support of the tentative agreement, which has now been ratified. After months of hard work on both sides of the table, the collective bargaining committee and the ACFO-ACAF Board of Directors sincerely appreciate your support.

This ratification of a first collective agreement is a critical first step for our community. Preparations for further negotiations and consultation regarding conversion of the CT-IAU subgroup members are already underway. This will likely include extensive research and an independent pay study in preparation for conversion and next round, where we will continue to work towards ensuring parity between the subgroups. Before the expiry of this new agreement, we are expecting pay simplification negotiations and much work towards supporting hybrid work.

The next step will be to meet with the employer to formally sign the agreement and lay out an implementation timeline over the next two-to-three months. As the first group to ratify our agreement, we will be the first in the queue for implementation and expect that this will minimize delays.

Once the agreement has been finalized and signed, we will distribute it to all members immediately. The new provisions in the collective agreement are effective on signing unless otherwise specified. If you have any additional questions, please contact us at negotiations@acfo-acaf.com.
