Date:      Tuesday June 5, 2012
Time:      8:00am – 12:15pm (EST)
Location: Ottawa Marriott Hotel, Victoria Ballroom

To provide FIs with new perspectives and practical insights for their careers, the theme of this year’s seminar is leadership. While nations and the private sector rely on finance professionals for their technical skills, they are equally reliant on the financial officer’s leadership abilities.  Financial officers will be depended on to provide leadership in charting the course to safer fiscal shores.

The highlight of the conference will be an inspirational keynote address from the Honourable Senator Roméo Dallaire on the humanistic approach to new leadership, illustrated with stories of his own experiences.

Alexandre Boulerice, Member of Parliament and Critic for Labour Issues will also speak on his leadership experience in the public service and unions.

Rear-Admiral Bryn Weadon, former ADM Finance and Corporate Services for National Defence will be the Master of Ceremonies.

The session will be available via live webcast for members who cannot attend in person.
