Requesting your input: NJC Relocation and Workforce Adjustment directives
In accordance with the National Joint Council (NJC) By-Laws, ACFO-ACAF is looking for our members’ input into what improvements, additions, or changes should be made to two NJC Directives: the Relocation Directive and the Workforce Adjustment Directive.
The Relocation Directive outlines the guidelines and entitlements for employees who are required to relocate due to a change in their work location. It details the costs the employer will cover during a relocation, including travel, moving expenses, and housing, among others.
The Workforce Adjustment directive outlines the guidelines and entitlements of indeterminate employees affected by workforce adjustment. It includes important information on the options for employees who do not receive a guarantee of a reasonable job offer (GRJO), alternation, and more.
