Virtual Career Fair for Employees Affected by WFA
To help employees who are affected by Workforce Adjustment (WFA) situations find potential new employment opportunities, 13 federal government departments and agencies have organized a Virtual Career Fair.
The Virtual Career Fair will run from September 17 to 23, 2012.
The event will bring together private and public sector organizations, and impacted federal employees online in a direct and confidential manner.
Participating employees will be able to search for and apply for opportunities that match their skills, experience and career plans at their convenience, online, 24 hours a day, in French and English.
Affected employees are invited to familiarize themselves with the system and pre-register by consulting the Career Fair Virtual Demo site at http://www.monstervirtualcareerfair.ca/DEMO/.
This Virtual Career Fair is being organized by the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer (OCHRO) in collaboration with the Institute on Governance and Monster Canada. For more information, visit the OCHRO Virtual Fair webpage at http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/hrh/vcf-sev-eng.asp .
